All containers are equipped with solar panels which makes them completely autonomous with no need of external power source. Our engineers took into consideration that with Covid 19 still being active it is highly advised that people avoid physical contact with metal surfaces. That is one of the reasons we implemented automatic door opening. It is enough just to stand for more than 2 seconds in front of the container to open the waste disposal doors. To cut short the working time of waste trucks and to save fuel our Smart Containers are equipped with waste compactor which means that our Containers can hold up to 7 times the capacity of a standard waste bin of 120 liters. That means that the waste trucks do not have to collect the waste from the bins as often as it would be the case with standard bins. The other mean of time saving and cost reducing functionality is the implemented SmartWaste sensor that measures the fill level of each Container individually and then sends this information in real time to the Cloud application in Waste disposal company. That way they can plan the route to pick up the waste only when the Containers are filled 80% or more.
